Mutt decided he would go find Pinky and Hoppy again, and play with them. They are a lot of fun, they all like to play chase and try to catch each other.
On his way to the barnyard he ran into, "Angel" the absconder hen. She was so beautiful, with her top-not on her head. It looked like a crown that she wore. "cluck, cluck" said Angel to Mutt, how are you? "woof" said Mutt, I'm fine. Angel ask Mutt if he would like to see her pretty eggs she laid in the hen house. "Woof", yes, he said. So Angel took Mutt into the hen house, where she lived and showed him the pretty colored eggs. Mutt told her they look like colors in the rainbow, they were so pretty. Angel was so proud. Mutt thanked her for letting him see them. He then told Angel good-by and went furthur into the barnyard to find Pinky and Hoppy.
There you are he said, finding them playing by the old log, that Hoppy lived in. Pinky was running around squealing and her curly little tail was twisting in the air.
Pinky, Hoppy and Mutt all played a game of chase, until it started to get dark and Mutt had to go back to the farm house.
Pinky and Hoppy settled down near the log to talk. They would talk about how many good friends they had and how lucky they were to live on this great ranch.
