Sway

My Mother Knew
How to Keep
Death & Sorrow
Away.
She danced,
She laughed,
She sang,
She played
And She Swayed.

Oh yes, indeed
I did Learn
Lots from Her…..

Wonderfully penned. It is vibrant and full of life and I feel as I read the last lines you are smiling and winking at me. This is a great piece of advise and a great pick me up

Huh....positive on at least two level. I've been thinking of my experiences of late as being along the same lines.....at least my interpretation on what you read.....we all have our our personal..."font"?

I went out dancing last weekend and loved it. Swaying on the dance floor, I spoke of going out and singing karaoke...something I used to do quite often. I don't think I laughed but but I was the cause of some and got a very endearing comment on my having been missed.

All in all, I think your poem aptly expressed one I had already started and, from a different perspective, said what I was going to say. Thanks....I was too busy to write it anyway. :-)
