Your life for mine, was I worth it?
Yes my child is whispered in my heart
You are a beautiful earthly angel
My precious love I await you in heaven.
I lay my head upon my folded hands
and pray for us all for most do not see
the true meaning of the blood of Christ.
My heart and soul weeps with shame
to know HE died so that his blood
would cleanse all of our sins.
Be grateful, thankful, considerate
love HIM like no other, he should
be the first, the center and the last love
in your life to carry you through.
Follow the narrow path, for it is
the only way to seek righteousness
and to find Our Lord and Savior.
Trust in HIM and carry your faith
and belief with you always, forever
knowing that one day you will be beside HIM.

this is very spiritual huni and I don't feel it's my place to judge it too much because I am not a spiritual person in the sense of christianity etc.. but from what I read; you did a great job at getting your message across there and I liked the way its laid out and the picture is pretty gripping to the reader straight away ... welldone xx

Beautifully written! I have to tell you, I'm not religious. I do however, believe in JESUS and what he taught. Some may say I contradict myself, but I believe that even those who don't believe in a God, or "know" the bible - they can still learn from the life of Jesus Christ, for He is the epitome of good. So, having said that, I found your poem to be wonderfully presented; it has a great feel to it, and serves as a powerful tribute to Him. An enjoyable read. Nicely done.
