your friendly faux smile
sits heavy upon my shoulders

I carry the weight of open observance
my own eyes being the burden

Because I can see through you
              see through me
              see through all

seeing
stinging with the scenery
of the simpleminded suffering

taunting
torturing me with untruths
and non-validity
