    Living in the desert, I do not have rivers close by. That rarely keeps me from pondering their beauty though.

    This was quite lovely Henri. Ive never tackled a cinquain, but it looks like you have perfected the art.

    I returned to read this one, Henri - interesting when reading vertically: Rivers cascading templets taking paths Homeward; rivers down living resistance Homeward. I love to read things upside down at times.

    Perfect!

    Right now we are experiencing heavy rainfalls in our region. For me this poem is VERY visual ...

    I think it may also be read on a spiritual level: that raging, passionate, wondrous stream of determination, taking a shortcut towards Eternity!
