give me your thoughts

erasable grafitte on the table tops

used just to pass the time

of the teachers talk

and the time on the clock

the un understandable words have been

re re taken from text

making even the smart a fool

and turning class into a whirl pool of

intelligence and self esteem

drowning in waves of confusion

evaporating into wide eyes

twice as off track as when the bell rang

in a facility where food reverses medicine

and the faculty are paid

to do a job they don't do

 

is it really horrid?

    EXCELLENT VIEW!
    The dumbing down of education is taking place in order to insure the good feelings of those who are unexceptional. Schools no longer have the money to allow those who can to do, so they go the other way to bring up the average score to make appearances what they feel that they should be. Ketchup, or perhaps, catsup, is now a vegetable instead of a condiment. Those who wish to teach are merely tending the herd until tenure or time run by.

    i really like the erasable graffitti on the table tops used just to pass the time of the teachers cloc. it reminds me alot about myself.

    This is good but make sure you spell check it; this is a really interesting poem on the workings of school...it's very satirical in nature.
