My son-in-law wanted to be a firefighter all his life but went on to play professional football. got injured, and had to retire, his injury caused his inability to become a firefighter.
I love firefighters. It has always amazed me that they run into a burning building while so many are running out. I think their courage is insurmountable. I am glad to read this poem filled with glee. It appears that you are very happy and I am very happy for you dear sister/friend. We still have to connect on the phone soon. LOL
