A void now filled with splendor
Your tender voice an angelic melody
Weaving me into a spellbound charm.

Cover me with your lips, gently
Wrap me in your wings of silk
Gather me close and whisper
How much I truly mean to you.

I can't stand to be secluded
To not feel your flesh on mine
To not be able to touch your face
Fly to me and forevermore be mine.

    wonderfully done, beautifully word you have penned dear poet, I just love these lines:

    just a beautiful write all the way around from the first lines that draw you right into the scene to the last line that ends it just magically. The poem has nice flow and wonderful imagery just breathtaking!! keep them flowing and good luck in your contest!!
