I am from smeared ink
and wrinkled pages.
From beginnings, middles,
and unhappy endings.
I am from the webs
that forever bind me
to this shelf.
I am from the shadows
that pass me by.
My title invisible to
there blinded eyes.
I am from the characters,
each of which play a part
in my ancient story.
I am from heartless villains
and victorious heroes
forced to battle one another
in a never ending war.
I am from the smoothed curves
and jagged lines that make up
the lines of a forgotten book
titled "My Life".

Wow this is very impressive but I don't like how you ended it with the quotes, it was unesccary- a good author has good endings, and poetry is all about endings, dramatic ones, simple ones, and more creative ones you can come up with yourself. But this ending ruins your poem and flow. I must say, I really can't stand it in all honesty. A good author also knows what lines they can and can't take out. Not every line that you like is a good line. Kill your darlings, they say.

I like it! It doesn't sound like you though, which is strange because it's an identity poem, but out of the assignment it works.
My favorite line is the part about beginnings, middles, and unhappy endings. MAN. I wish I thought of that!
much love,
sabrina.
