For every sin committed,
An angel spreads its wings,
Sacrificed upon the altar
Where its deathly gods shall sing
To permeate the wind with their dark and shallow tones
And bring fear to hearts of those whom defy their commanding moans.
Cry for salvation and scream for forgiveness,
But alone you'll stand in purgatory for every selfish act.
You'd kill for glory, god, and victory
Denying your true fate,
But, again, you stand alone
Against the horrors beyond the Gate.
It's keeper shouts before you,
Alone and unalive:
"Forever damned, you shall not pass.
In the mortal world you'll strive."
You aimed for death of evil
Throughout your mortal life,
Yet little did you realize
You're salvation became your strife.
Never shall you come to terms
With the evils dwelling nigh,
And never shall you understand
Salvation is a lie.
