A dancing wonder,
of water and ice,
glimmering with beauty,
passion and might.
Upon the candle,
it shall sit,
glazed and wonderful,
a blue fire fist.
Drifting in the air,
carrying every little sound,
dissolved cares,
a love is to be found.
A dazzling masterpiece,
standing tall,
in the ribbon,
and through it all.
Author notes
Ok, i know I probably won't win the contest... i didn't take more than 5 minutes to write this and its confusing but... its what the picture made me think of.

Lovely lilting poem that melts on your tongue like a drop of honey. The last stanza is especially beautiful and graceful. Thank you for your entry!

I think its just wonderful and very beautiful, my favorite part is
Drifting in the air,
carrying every little sound,
dissolved cares,
a love is to be found
Those words just carried me away, I wish you much luck in the contest and a beautiful night xoox -
What a wonderful picture you have painted here for us! I especially loved the stanza:
"Upon the candle,
it shall sit,
glazed and wonderful,
a blue fire fist."
You are very talented and definitely have a way with words that draws the reader right into the poem.
Thank you so much for sharing this piece with us here. All the best to you as you continue writing!
