Freedom flutters 'pon whispered winds
with dreams dancing 'neath the naked sun
and destiny is inhaled from sweet scented earth
as life beats it's path to wisdom.
Each day is a promise of future unconfined
for the spirit to find it's truth
and the stream of life flows through every vein
and desire ripples nature's intent.
But when moments are shackled the sky turns bleak
and life's force is slapped into chains,
a deep sadness sighs within spiritual flight
as the flame of life flickers it's existence.
But the breeze floats through in freedom's dimensions
and time has become life's jailer,
the earth cries out, colliding with reality's constraints
for before me, imprisonment was tossed away by creation.

Another wonderful write that speaks so much. Life is full of many things that we continually chase and sometimes capture. We yearn for times that seem to evade us, we chase memories that become more distant with time and we hope with all our hearts that we will see that light before us. I love your words as they speak so much.

That is my favourite verse and one where I can invisage so many things. The future holds many promises and surprises and we long to get to them faster than time allows. Our souls determined to awaken and stroll the paths in sunlight. Such a wonderul heartfelt write that gives one a feeling of suspense and hope.
