Lying upon the roof
The air ever so thick
A night to remember
Already forgotten morning
Stare at these stars
Waiting to fall down
To drive themselves
Righthrough tender flesh
Pouring out in a mass of dark
Each begins to descend
Slow and beautiful
Such a dangerous act
These tiles so rough
The sky so smooth
Oh how we've waited
The sky is black
And these stars a gorgeous blue
Screaming in pain
The fallen angels of the sky
Their blood the night air
A language of utter time
Fear not my angel
I will not fail to catch you
I'll hold you close
Even as you dismember me
Your tears like acid upon my skin
Turning this night black
Oh she said to me
Such things to make me smile
She held my hand and threw me
Towards this black sky
Oh my dearest angel
I shall never blame you
For feasting on my flesh

Oh wow. "Oh my dearest angel I shall never blame you for feasting on my flesh." I'm going to not say wow again because it doesn't quite cover this. I loved this one. Love love love. I think this is my favorite so far. Maybe because I love stars and skies and angels and sorrow.
Write on.
