her baby gone, ripped apart and bloody
mother cried in agony beside her
thinking of the gun in the closet drawer
she decided to kill the hideous murderer
"he will never do this to another child,"
she screamed to the heavens in rage
this night he will be dead to the world
and not just locked in some prison cage!"
she went to the local bar to find him
for he would get drunk after his crime
drawing the gun, she shot off his face
while yelling at him, "never again!"
Then she held the gun to her head
crying, "I can no longer live, after
what has happened tonight...
this is the only thing left that's right"
A tragic end to a family of three
now at least they are free of misery
it was the only way out of the sin
then for any of them to continue to live

This is a grim tale, right or wrong more hearts will surely break in the aftermath.
I am so glad it is only a possible scenario.but it is vivid enough to picture as a reality.

a good poem ah madness begets madness at times, violence is is man's nature, well i say man, woman too, humanity. i am sure scenes like this have happened and will do again.

Works for me, there is no life after the death of a child for a very long time, the guilt is all consuming no matter the cause .. if only I had..
