the water it holds will never run dry
the one form it takes will never defy
and through light it's here in the blink of an eye

following faithful, no less than loyalty
marching along telling me it won't flee
because it can't fear, what it doesn't see
Surely my shadow is more innocent than my soul
it's never depleted anyone's whole.
it's never dug itself into a hole
because it's always focused on one greater goal
My shadow and I are one in the same
but we differ so greatly, hunter and game
and when things go wrong, I'm the one to blame
compared to our shadows, we can only be feign..
