The Ocean Souls

Darkness surrounds a pretty soul,
One lost amongst the waves.
Her fear is gone,
She has no care,
For petty lies she told.
The Ocean takes no Angels,
But feeds on Sinners heat.
Tomorrow she'll be gone again,
As if she never went.
The Ocean takes its memories,
As its soiled souls do weep.

Author notes

Sort of the other side of life, that can still hold and live in darkness.

Nice imagery, I found this thoughts provoking specially about life and its possibilities. I liked the use of the ocean as a metaphor for where memories go. It was apoem well written. Keep the ink flowing.
