Always to be the bridesmaid,
Cursed from the start,
Tears fall from her sapphire eyes,
Her lovers to constantly depart.
She wonders what she does
To cause her such dismay,
She trembles with fear and pain
while upon her bed she lay.
Always to be a bridesmaid,
Cursed from the start,
Tears fall from her sapphire eyes,
Her lovers to constantly depart.
Her body writhes with anguish
And the mind screams of doubt,
How much longer will she suffer?
How much longer can she hold out?
She wonders what she does
To cause her such dismay,
She trembles with fear and pain
while upon her bed she lay.

OH how sad!!! It makes me want to hold her! I know it can be hard sometimes, and everyone has that moment, but it will be better. She's young, beautiful, and has to focus on herself. Loneliness can be a bitch, and so can the need to be held and loved, but loving can be in the weirdest places.
Beautiful saddness.

Alas, my dearest friend Tawni, that girl is me.
I miss the feeling of bliss I once had. I fear it may never return.

Great poem, love the flow and the subject this is based upon kind of reminds me of the movie 27 dresses, but this obviously is a serious write and the piece shows your emotions and vulnerability in the matter of love. Great write keep it up!
