Silence Kills

Your words never form
nor fall from your lips
the only words you speak
fall upon my hips

You smile but it's tainted
Lips that never part
and hands that always wander
lacking efforts to reach my heart

The words are never spoken
your feelings go unheard
the thought of you whispering
is becoming sadly absurd

I scream how much I love you
my words still cry 'I care'
you stare at me and blink an eye
this silence I cannot bare
