Should we ever dance on the moon, and gaze at the stars.
Should we adore the dim fluorescence, shining down from Mars.
If I should fall back to the earth, to wake from this bliss.
I would hold my thoughts at heart, till I could dream of the kiss.
The ocean tides roll in to reface the sand, Oh-love,
relieving our footsteps as we walk hand-in-hand.
The orange horizon seems to swallow the sun,
as the clouds open up and the rains come undone.
Should we ever be there in the sand, on that stormy night.
Should we taste the waters of heaven, that dampen the moonlight.
If I should ever fall from the skies, to awake from this bliss.
I would never regret the dreams of which, I came so close to your tender kiss.
