You know we couldn't paint a sky like this.
One thousand prismatic stars punturing the black.
You say I spin the moon on my fingernails.
Well honey, the sun shines from your smile
and the moon can't glow without the sun.
My tongue curls around words I can't say.
I wish your lips would untangle them from my teeth.
Darling you are the atomic makeup of my universe.
Your scars and freckles put the Milky Way to shame.
Your kisses contain entire solar sytems.
Your tongue pushes them behind my teeth.
Super novas catch in my throat and burst from my mouth.
My sky is contained in the endless blue of your eyes.
Between the two of us we are a galaxy.
The sky would never look the same
if we couldn't light it up together.

The sky would never look the same
if we couldn't light it up together.
Of course, it won't, radian star.

I love where you went with my title!!
My tongue curls around words I can't say.
I wish your lips would untangle them from my teeth.
Darling you are the atomic makeup of my universe.
Your scars and freckles put the Milky Way to shame.
Your kisses contain entire solar sytems.
Those lines were brilliant. Beautifully written! Thanks so much for entering.
