Take the wind from my sails and leave me
Here
Let the waves hold me still
Let the calm rest my mind
And if god tries to push me, gently, with his tide
Usher him away, to the lost ships of the night
If time is an ocean, let me drown out of sight
Let my corpse drift ashore for some sailor to find
But never let me look back on what I now leave behind.

I love the line: "if time is an ocean, let me drown out of sight".....and "lost ships of the night"....vividly imagery with a sailor-theme. Your first two lines puzzle me a bit, since there isn't a continue rhyme, like the rest of your poem. Thank you for entering the contest.
