Hope is mankind’s way to adjust
A feeling that’s rooted in faith and love
The wonderous instinct and component of life
A gift for the righteous who trust
Trust your feelings, learn to feel
With a firm assurance of unclear things
We define it as; confident expectation
Give thanks for awareness that’s real
Real reliance is here to stay
Do not confuse hope with wishful thinking
It’s a wonderful part of divine salvation
For God knows your heart when you pray
Pray to the Lord, He’ll help you cope
Have faith in His will, He knows what you need
If you fall on your knees all blessings will come to pass
And that is the reason for hope
