i love you as the color green
just as all the others are fair to be seen
black is just fine
when you need to dine
red is full of flare
and white is just as bare
orange will catch your eye
and blue shallows the sky
but green will hold you in her arms
though the troubles and the calm
her love will never sway
weather you near or away
yellow is bright and firey as the sun
and gray is dull and not much fun
sliver is full of flash
and gold is load with cash
green will love you rich or poor
she loves you if your cross or sore
she will stay by you
in any shade or hue
for she is not hateful or mean
i love you as the color green
