sometimes finished

sometimes there is a churning
burrowed into pit of soul
to sit and stir until
nauseously regurgitated
through fingertips or tube
to screen or paper

when creation speaks
all choices run and hide

insistent
like children of
the millionaire
demanding cars
and stationary ponies
in pitched fits
and frightful screams
of i want i need
and you will buy it
if you love me

the words
they roll in
thunder
crashing past the
peachy to the plain
in search of lips
that wish to spill them
and sometimes those that don't

twice written
never shy
always lurks the inspiration
when expectations
are at lowest tide

creeps like ivy through
the brain and burns
a trail
from concept to
fruition
to know when
it is finished.

    Hood-Wink!

The raw power in this is just brilliant as you speak of society and truths in a flow that does nothing to pretend otherwise Bavo

    HOODWINKED!

Wow! This is not only an excellent piece of writing, it is full of wisdom and truth. What a society in which we live in these "end of days." You captured it all: visually as well as audio and kinetic. Your talent shines, dear one!

    Much love in Christ, BonnieQ
