Words In the Wind

    Morning tears paint her feet
As she walks upon the ground.
Ground that now embraces someone precious.
She waits without a sound.

The mourners all shook their heads
At the service she didn't attend.
They all called her cold-hearted
At the flowers she didn't send.

Who were they to judge her?
They couldn't see; what did they know?
The sorrow that left her meaningless
For someone precious, now below.

She steps into the cloud concealed light
Onto the path once often tread.
Thinking of all the words
The precious one once said.

Halting a ways down the path,
She stops in front of the stone.
Although it appears so,
She isn't really alone.

The breeze picks up,
And dances all around her.
The wind weaves a sweet melody,
And with it, I whisper,

"Please don't cry anymore.
I'm watching from above you.
So go on and smile again,
Because I'll always love you".

    A+

It is a fairly easy poem to read, flows beautifully. It is a sad poem, and I love the way it ended, and the note it ended on. You did a really good job on this poem. It wasn't a sing song flow, but rather a rhythm flow, a nice slow read that ends beautifully. Well done.

    Poet

It is a fine piece I I had no problems understand it at all. Tragedy has taken a love away from another and the heart cries but is calmed by a voice moving towards heaven, well done.
