Rituals of life
Fill this September morning
9/09/09
~
trails of smoking sage
swirl around my existence
rosario dreams
~
flying cardinal
sunlight shines through red feathers
in a flash of orange
~
the broom tree turns red
leaves ablaze in the cool breeze
announcing autumn
~
in the morning breeze
leaves rustle like taffeta
in an old ball gown
~
touches of color
red, blue, lavender and pink
remnants of summer
~
the season changes
suddenly it comes to us
summer has ended
~
whisper to the sky
leaves flutter, sway and rustle
sweet songs of nature
~
a joyous morning
engulfed in nature
my heart filled with peace
~
Please tell me what you think

No!!! summer can't be over yet??? You have the background and the color scheme of fall!!! Your poem is a fresh reminder of what is to come...LOL. Good work.
