cracks in my feet
summah' decks

summah' body surfing.

Fumes in the tent
basket ball thumps
and thumps
kids awake, yeah!
Gottah' headache
Camp fire delights
colors in flame
marsh mellow mess
sticks.
Farris wheel tight knuckled
rides, no airborn surprise
everyone ate well.
Little one learns the balance
of bike, legs of hiking jello.
Hands held in the park
pee'd behind the tarp
after dark warm snuggles
warding off the chill
of night...

Had a great time at Old Orchard Beach with my girl.
She thought she'd caught me checking out a bikini walking down the beach. I was watching a boat way out wondering to myself about the fishing. Sheesh! I must be getting old to have missed that bikini.

Not quite over for me just yet. I have my book signing this weekend and a big celebration party afterward. Only then will I go into my Fall season.

Ahhhhhhh....so good. This was like looking at snapshots of a summer holiday ('though I would hope there wouldn't be a snap of you peeing behind a tarp).
