Slithering slick
Blithering brick
Minded men
Bending words
Breaking swords
Killing
Dying
Futile passion,
Unrequited hatred,
Pouring from the speakers on your dresser,
as you listen endlessly to the soundtrack for 'Labyrinth'
Death dithers amongst men,
Trying to find the perfect angel to bring back from hell...
Run for your lives,
From the moonies and their tinfoil hats,
And chloroform tablets...
Men in clean white coats,
With butterfly nets,
And those fashionable jackets which make you hug yourself...
Breaking the glass with such loud silence,
Such quiet screams as uttered from a dead housefly...
The devil from my daydream is back again,
Burying me in my bed,
My family mourning the loss of another empty oak coffin...
Don't cross the streams.
Use Sunscreen.
Don't waste your time on me.
Oh heck, live a little, drink the kool-aid!
