Fields of topaz like hallowed visions from
A mingled past, these butter colored
Waves crash against the shores of a
Vicious tongue, the light resides here
Reflecting shades of blue black that
Dance like flickers before my eyes,
Red, red rose there is no place left in
This secret garden for such a one as
You, but these velvet chains keep my
Heart restrained still careless whispers
Like vicious daggers that cut me to the
Marrow, a name was uttered in a barren
Room, silent vestiges of days long past,
These dust covered sheets simple
Melodies, lyrics for my cold and quiet
Friend his strings abused, his symphonies
Ever violent like her touch, like her name,
Like my Rose.
