Behind these glassy eyes I see the world.
Trapped inside this human shell,
unable to speak, to think, to act.
I am trapped in a cage of human flesh.
How did I get here?
Where did I go wrong?
I am unable to see clearly,
blinded by someone who is not me.
Lost without a trace of my former self.
Lost in the mind of someone new,
the distinction has faded away.
A life I held so tight, has slipped away.
Unable to breath, or be who I am.
My thoughts drift around and dissipate.
My words are lost, muffled by the sound of a thousand voices.
Where did I go wrong.
How did I lose myself so quickly?

Good poem, creates some good thoughts of the psychological, not entirely sure it fits the lyrics that well, but then they are open to interpretation and I suppose there is definitly an element of being lost in the song.
Good write =]
Good luck in the contest.
