I am married women and a stay at home wife and mother to a wonderful ,caring and hard working husband Daniel. I have one beautiful surviving daughter kimberley whom I love dearly the Lord has brought us closer together since the passing on of my my oldest daughter. These last two years our lives has been a rough road for all who loved her. Losing a child is one of the hardest things any mother and family goes through. I lost my oldest daughter Tammy at the age of 37 two years ago, on the night of June 26,2007. God has been there and still carrying me through. She will be in my heart forever, and still is deeply missed. She would be so happy, to know that I'm doing this book, I can picture her smiling down upon me from heaven. She is at rest now with the Lord.
In my spare time my hobbies are crocheting, and decorating,. I also love art and paintings especially ones by Thomas Kinkade. I love music, my two favorite instuments are the guitar and panio.May favorite of oldies but goodies is Niel Young
and John Micheal Talbot for inspiration though, my favorite hobby is writing. I've always wanted to publish a book on my poems but it was not God's timing. Since then I discovered a website called Allpoetry.com I began writing my poems to view by others. With the encouragment and support of friends at all poetry God led me to a publishers I thank him for her. The name of my book came up by reading one of my favorites at allpoetry Kendal Palmer which had the word Basking in one of his poems, loved the word and thought that would fit nicely for the title of my book Basking in his love.
I love to read my favorite book is the bible, God has given me a gift to be a blessing and encourment to others. I am thankful to the Lord, He is my true inspiration. Through his wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit, with His hand in mine, my heart near to Him, I draw from the rich wells of living Waters that never run dry. Poems can be a comfort and uplift to the troubled and weary, to the broken hearted, and to those who grieve the loss of a loved one. But should never take the place of our Savior they are His gifts and instruments of His love and grace. I pray He use them for His glory. Matthew 18: 12-13 How think ye? if a man have a hundred sheep ,and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the nintey and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeth that which is gone astray? And verily if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, then of the ninety and nine which went not astay. This will be one of my joys when I go heaven to meet my lord. To God be the glory!
