No time passes,
Things stand still,
A moment’s breath
Upon the sill.

Lying here
Out in the yard,
Watching birds
And chasing cars.

Mind’s fall back
Into their place,
Forget the worlds
Raging pace.

Alone in mind,
But one with you,
I grab a hold,
Of the sky’s Blue.

And tear a page,
From love’s embrace,
While holding you
Like silken lace.

Time is now,
Let’s have no fear,
This short second
Felt like a year.

Let’s pull a Jim
And break on through,
Even though
I’m here with you.

The wind and sun
Upon our skin,
Warms the soul,
And let’s love in.

And just before,
The rain falls down,

And leave this town.
