is this how it ends
living a life of regret
everyday missing what we had
because I didn't listen

is this how it ends
memories floating by
on rivers of tears
missing you more everyday

is this how it ends
our promises
our love
just washed away

is this how it was supposed to end
did I really mean any thing to you
or was it all in my mind
is this how it ends
