Love the black ones. When I was a kid, I use to line them up and eat them in a row. Don't know what that was all about but it seemed to amuse me. lol!!!!!! Anyway, this was just a marvelous piece that really jumped along. The flow was so fast and kinda smiley. Love the rhyme. I guess that's what gave it its bounce. Thanks for sharing this little beauty.

Not many poems give one a flavour of taste to the soul, and this done it. Wow, you are a gift of licorice allsorts aren't you? Now let me guess, to be this in depth about the jelly bean, I think it wrong of me not to say, you like em, dont you? Wow, are there this many flavours, you've amazed me. Yet there is another side, to think how many dreaded e or added incentives are amongst them all that we can't see? This was very sweet indeed. Titus

    Since being...

diagnosed with diabetes I have had to take Jelly Beans out of my diet with about every other candy except sugerless chololate. Sugarless Jelly beans are boring. But I enjoyed your write here poet. Reminding me of better times when I could stuff my face and not have to worry about taking pills to control the sugar. I could just bounce off the walls!

Decisions! Decisons! which one to pick,
Don't dally too long or they'll be gone quick!

A whole array of wonderful rainbow colours and flavours. It's no wonder they are all so appealing to all ages. The manufacturers of these sweet things hit the market right as human beings are 'programmed' to look for variety in their food so will naturally go for thing of many colours ... so you are right, it is something in the genes
