Death

Missing image

I think it is the leaving, the letting go

that makes death so fearful.

It is the leaving of those who depend on you

and need you.

Then there is the uncertainy of the unknown,

the time to spend in Paradise before one faces the judgnment.

The fear that ones name will not be in the Book of Life

that the new white stone will not be given you with a new name

For Jesus said there will be a new life a new body, a white stone with a new name written on it.

Oh, a fine piece about one of the three inevitables: death! I love how it started.
These lines stood out to me:
Then there is the uncertainty of the unknown,
the time to spend in Paradise
    before one faces the judgment.

Well-written in spite of the few typos. Keep the ink flowing XD

=] wonderful, the only thing that every human being has in common birth and death, i admit if i think about death for too long i start worrying but its the uncertainty of time which occupies my thoughts but we must spend our time living not dying

    AWESOME POEM...

This is a great poem of truth for wittnessing for our Lord! Gives one something to think about. I am not afraid to die anymore, because I have Jesus as my personal Saviour. I guess that makes all the difference for me as I stopped worring about death when I gave myself to HIM. I do hope I live long enough to accomplish more things while on earth and to have grandchildren from my 3 kids. The title was wonderful and certyainly grabs at you to read this one.And the content is one of importance! Way to go! Love Kami

Many do not want to think of death, but it comes to us all. If we have performed our tasks in this life, those who depend on us now have the knowledge to live after we have gone. Death is a completion of life, a part of it. Thank you for posting and making me think again of the future.

This is beautiful and helps one to think of things they may not want to dwell on.

a good poem penned with a fine pen, ah we fear death yes, for all sorts of different reasons, while we are here, no one wants to leave, well that is incorrect i suppose for some do by taking their own lives, but you know what i mean.
