How could I ever dream,
that someone could shatter these walls all around?
With such ease you tore me apart at the seam.
Like a thief, you stole my heart without a sound.
As quickly as the wind,
you came and went.
How could you have left and sinned?
To me you were heaven sent.
Yet now you've returned,
begging to reconcile.
Even if all the trust is gone you earned,
I'd been missing our love for such a while.
If you're willing to forget,
then I'm willing to forgive.
For loving you, is the one thing I've never regret.
Let us shed away the past, with our only goal to fully love and to live.
This time, I'm hoping you'll see,
what your love means to me
with open arms.

Good rhyming, and you really caught the meaning of the song. Very well written. Thanks for entering and good luck

Wonderful words to the song you chose, kinda like my love story with my husband, some have to learn, even if their is pain involved that they had had it good all along and to keep our arms open to receive them back. Excellent. Blessings.
