I See Beauty

Everyone has a gift.

I believe that every single person on this earth has a special aptitude to see one of its aspects in bright detail.

My mother brought this up once. She asked me what I can see.

I said I didn't know.

I lied.

Some people see:
relationships
gossip
words
heroes
stories.

I see beauty.

I see beauty in everything and it moves me on a daily basis.

I love the world and everything in it because it is beautiful and magnificent in my eyes.

Everyone has a gift. Everything has some bit of beauty.

Everyone. Everything.

No exceptions.

Some people see:
connections
secrets
love
problems
solutions
possibilities.

I see beauty.

And when I'm wondering why I'm here and why I should be here, it stabilizes me.

Every blade of grass gives me the answer.
Every flake of chipping paint.
Every flower.
Every weed.
Every minute.

Everyone has a gift to see what they can see.

I see beauty.

Trying new things! Opinions much appreciated! :)

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!

I really liked this... especially the inclusion of images that don't really appear beautiful to the unobservant: i.e. chipping paint, weeds. Gorgeous
