He went out in the world today
heard the rustling near the bay
caught the sun to end the day
in among the grassy shore
out among the wild growth
his own foot falls among the stars
beyond a cloudy twilight roof...
Trickling, like a drop of rain
this young spirit, both the same
newly formed, to melt away
with a sun to end the day...
New eyes, wondering what they see
caught in painted imageries
nothing really understood
trusting in the mysteries
that in the scheme there must be good
and if none, then it shall be him
to spread it ‘round, born from within
born from love of loved ones past
woven here among the grass
growing wild, as if by chance
waiting for a future glance
from new eyes wondering what they have...

AMAZING!
You have no idea how amazingly you have captured my sons soul in these words! I am honored that you found inspiration from his photo. As for the write, it is elegant and deep and insightful. Perhaps a bit of the boy lives inside the man. ;-) -

Oh, indeed he does still live inside... (and tries to get out at every opportunity, too...! ) I thought I'd endeavor to give your son a little wonder and guiding wisdom here... can't have too much of either...
