Upon wings of eagles we attempt to soar,
ever so much higher than

    either of us had even dreamed...


I love everything about you ~
inside and out, you are pure beauty!


You've shared your heart,
your love, your worries, your concerns

    ...and I would be a fool
        to neglect you for even a moment.


You've entrusted your heart in mine,
and I dare not abuse this trust.


You and I are Children of Light,
and never do I desire mine

    to outshine His in your eyes.


My Love,

God's blessed Angel sent into my life,
as I love you deeply in the physical,
so shall I ~ and so do I ~ in the spiritual.


You are my helpmate, my soulmate,
the very essence of all that my heart desires!


Forever, my Love ~
this I do pledge, that I'll lift you up
and keep you holy and blessed

    before God.


        -- Not my desires,
            but His will be done.


Nothing is more important
than to love you and cherish you

    as He guides me...


        ...and He's guided me
            to protect and love you

            as a True Lover should.



Every embrace we share,
every look of love that sparks between us
is a testimony of the Love He's granted ~

let my heart be forever holy and true,
and forever loving you

    ...just as you need me to...


        for this is my Call in our Life.

    Yay for this is as beautiful, as inspiring, as lovely and sweet as Love itself! I have read many love stories and poems and each one gave me speciall delight since love is so huge and each lover is drowned in a part of this occean.

      Yes, my Love is such an important part of my life, that not a moment passes where she is not on my mind or in my heart. She and I have been talking lately and while, yes, we are absolutely crazy in love with each other, our spiritual side is more important and she and I have commited ourselves to lifting one another up. Because of this, our love has a renewed innocence, one that is refreshing and lets us truly enjoy simple gestures like gentle kisses and hugs, loving glances, and such, without having to wonder if we're going to push the limits at every turn. Don't get me wrong, I strongly desire her -- but when we started praying together my love for her deepened ever so much more.

      Sorry, probably too much info...She consumes my every part, once I get writing it's hard to stop.

    ... someday, someone will try to convince you it never happened the way you write it here ... that you were deluded and mistaken ... that your whole life was a ridiculous waste of misdirected energy based on some precarious notion of your own personal romantic fantasy.       While the romance in a relationship is wonderful, there comes a time where one needs to take a good look and see what is really important -- and that is where the real love begins.

      Don't get me wrong, I still love her like crazy I'm just wanting to step it up a notch on my part and be the man she needs, not just the man she loves.

    This is one of the most heartfelt, strongest poems you have written. I know this is for your love but the spirtual aspect from a mere man that has God in him shows greatly. I know of the struggles in life you have face to get here..to this place.
    My favorite part and this is the purest love of a man:

      you and I talked earlier, and you know how this poem came about...I've shared this with her, so she now sees all my cards on the table. No hidden motives or selfish desires and needs, just the pure love that can only come from what He puts together -- and stays in His will.
