In solemn silence,
In concrete walls,
Concrete chills,
Within such walls.
Not few walls,
Though not too many,
Thoughts are clear,
Yet so unsteady.
Creeping, crawling, finding solace,
Inside walls,
Few cold walls.
In dark,
Without light,
One can fall,
In shadowed walls.
Search for doors,
Finding none,
No forgiveness here,
Within few walls.
Never feeling,
Walls never see,
My infinite sorrow,
I cannot flee.
No light of day,
The taste of madness,
Within the tall, stone,
Walls of solace.
Never sky,
Never ground,
Plain cracked walls,
Of single tone.
Burning, churning,
Ceasing thoughts,
Clear as daylight,
Walls of thoughts.
Beyond few walls,
No solace to find,
Scream for madness,
Loss of pride.
The waking, quaking,
dying world,
Will never see,
These walls of mine.
Walls that live,
Ever onward,
Life unceasing,
Though lacking some.
Once again,
I’ve lost myself,
Within the darkness,
Of the walls.
Blackened shadow,
Lightened day,
Bitter feeling,
Walls will stay.
Bite of death,
Brings me home,
To a further place,
Beyond few walls.
