Brown Betty

Lo and Behold the clocks have told
How I became a thief
The lyre, unclear, so very dear
sets ogling sights beneath.

Far and wide, a hearts abides
and Betty becomes my lief
and all I say and all she does
I accept it like a thief.

Swerve unheard, toward the curve
Welcome Betty, to Hell.
for I am but her beastly Lord
Her mind is mine to sell.

Some people can be very persuasive but I think you are addressing more a sort of brain washing here. It doesn't sound too good. I've known people who have been in abusive relationships where this has happened. It's a tactic resulting form of control by the perpetrator.

Deep thoughts Key and nicely done.
