I wrote this after hearing a story on the news about "Honour killings". They happen in Muslim familys when a woman has gone against her family or is seen to have brought shame upon it the family club together and have the woman murdered. The sad thing here was the woman reported that she was in danger to the police but they didnt do anything now shes dead but on a positive note they did catch the people who did it.
Strangled with a shoelace

Her parents didn’t like him
But she really loved him
They wanted her love arranged
So she became estranged

As she asked 4 times for help
So she was raped and tortured
And dumped 100 miles from home

But took half an hour to die
They stamped upon her neck
So her soul would be free to fly
