IGSSA Sports Carnival

Sports, sports
everyone wearing shorts
with mascots at the front
girls cheering in the stands

Here we all are
The athetics carnival you see
accompianied by birds, bees
dolphins, bears (and watermelon)

The girls do run
at the fastest speed
faster than you've ever seen
As here we sit
watching them go by

So fast they run
at the sound of the gun
off they sprint

Halfway down the track
one in front,
leading the pack
she wins the race
and now is the best

The girls they cheer
with all their might
no matter if the girl
is in front or at the back
they still do cheer

As the day continues
so many sports are done
with running at the foreground,
first place they've found.

As in the middle we do see
javelin and shotput,
both going with speed

At the farside, there is now
long jump taking place
though far from the crowd

High jump as well
takes place to the right
though still in clear sight

As more races are run,
more javelins thrown,
(with shotput as well)
and more girls jumping
both long and high
They keep on winning
as the girls keep cheering

So records are broken
throughout the day
13.38, Set in 1993
is no match for Cookie

Exciting and fun
so all the girls have done
their very best
to achieve what they have
running as fast as they could
throwing as far as they can
jumping as long & high as they can
and doing their best
at what they did
While still having fun.
