You call me early one morning
alcohol slurred your speech
I was in southern California
You were on a West-Pac* cruise
Apologies flowed like a swollen river
it was hard to tell what they were for
Something about a girl in a bar in Singapore
sitting on your lap and way too much beer
You and your buddies were out together
So I shouldn't get very upset
What I'd really like to know dear
for what purpose did you call
Was it really to ask for forgiveness
for something that went a bite to far
Or just to cause me misery
for something before we met

    Far to realistic and honest

    Yeah we guys do some dumb stuff every once in a while. And apologies seem to get us in even worse hot water. Alcohol fuel long distance phone calls where your brain thinks one thing and totaly something different come sout of your mouth.
    Yeah we do dumb stuff well.

    Sadness

    I am sorry, things happen when guys and alcohol mix with oriental women, it's called yellow fever but I am not sure what happens after that. I have never been in the service and can not say what it like to be away from you family for 6 mos or more at a time, I can only say that it takes a strong woman to marry someone in the service and you madam need to be honored for you support of the man in your life!
