In Evelyn Forever

Alone you tread the barren halls
The claustrophobic white washed walls

Toward an end you wouldn't dare
For Evelyn awaits you there...

Yet beyond her lays a locked door
They've tried to drag you times before,

And all the lights begin to glow
In A luminous foreboding row

And awaiting you in the darkness there
Is Evelyn's awful glare...

So as the shadows dance and fold,
A countenance so old, so cold

Your horrid maggot ridden smile
Has been taunting us all the while

Beckoning me toward a dream
And endless forgotten seem

For in your smile you long to haunt
Yet your eyes with beauty taunt

There's far worse for me than death
Yet in your empty eyes l rest...

And there I shall sleep.

Please tell me what you think
