Last Will and Testament (Bronze)

For those who are seeking
The Truth
<< Your view of Truth goes in here >>
May you have the determination to follow through

For those who experience hostility
    I leave you my peace

For those who are criticised
    I leave you responsibility

For those who experience intolerance
    I leave you my patience

For those who feel discouraged
    I leave you my confidence

For those who experience disapproval
    I leave you my appreciation

For those who experience unfairness
    I leave you my acceptance

For those who are insecure and in doubt
    I leave you my faith

For those who are not accepted
    I leave you my friendship
So that he will learn to find love in the world.

And finally,
I leave you my trust in God
(Who lived in my heart
All of my days)
So that He for evermore
Live in your hearts
To uncover your truth
And to comfort you
In times when you are
lonely,
sad
and
confused

Author notes

This poem is dedicated to my family and friends, and my Creator above all, who really knows me.

Contest Prose: Write Your Will... with a catch...

The catch is that you have absolutely nothing of substance to give, not a single thing that has mass and occupies space-not a single earthy possession (including your body).

    Poignant

We should come to all to give, maybe even no thought of return, especially if we really have something to give.

May we all have such conviction.

    Enjoyed this! God bless!

Thank you for taking the time to read my poem and your contribution giving us a peace of your heart. So true that we are here to "come to give". We are blessed in so many ways - keeping it to ourselves won't do us any good. The above poem is a testament of my daily living - supported by my faith in the Lord.

I count my blessings everyday, and try to share as much as possible. The only way to make this world a better place!

"Don't give more than you can afford to loose" - thus, giving with the heart. With God's love pouring down on us, we can never loose!

      God bless and take care,
      Love,
      Raich.
