That we were setting there looking through the Ol' Mountain Trader,
I seen something about a little Chihuahua
I have always wanted one
You said go ahead call
I called they said she was still available
We went there to get her
She was so tiny and cute
I was afraid to hold her
That I would hurt her cause of how small she was
You asked the lady what her name was,
She said her name was peanut
I felt my heart fill with pride
That she was mine
That we could give her a loving forever home.
You said here baby she's for you
You had a big smile on your face.
You knew that I would love her.
Which I still do today.
Watching her grow little by little
You playing with her
Making me smile.
I love you so much
I love her too.
She is our baby.
She will always be.
I want to thank you
For getting her for us.
She always brings a smile to my face
When we are in a argument I always have to hold her or have her close to me
Because I feel that I'm right beside you
No that is not the reason why I love her
I love her for far to many reasons.
Many reasons.
I could not write down all the reasons
That would take years or months.
I just wanted to say that she will be our baby forever!!

i seen? -shudders- i saw. i have seen. never i seen.
cute piece. it is very affectionate, indeed. i like it. well done. -
Great to see someone so effectonate about animals! I hate it when people abuse the creatures, they've been around longer than we have and to see a poem dedicated to them is always great!
Keep up the great work, i'll have to come read some of your other work when i'm done with the contest

HAPPY LITTLE PROMPTS
This is interesting and seems heartfelt. I wish you continued joy. Thank you for entering my contest. -
didn't I already read this. I love it so you know what I will let you go to round 2 but you must write a new one for me. Can you do that? Thanks for entering and good luck. Oh yeah you did make it to the finalists!

this is a very nice poem but does not fit either prompt. You have to either follow a picture prompt or make me try and guess the animal you are talking about. Sorry

Very cute letter to a loved one about a loved one, but I have to say not very poetic? Perhaps rewritten with the same message it could be. Thank you for entering. Please do not rate comment or respond until contest is over and judged. Good luck.

That was a cute poem, I know a little chihuahua in my neighborhood whose name is Peanut.
I'm going to have to say no though, the grammar is off in some places, the story is choppy and it could have better vocabulary.
Thanks for entering. -
Awww I remember when we first got her. She was so tiny and still is. I love her and I love you too! This was really good!
