Bury Me Alive

Funeral rites
of reasoning,
awe-inspiring idiocy,
tears mined from
empty dungeons of
indifference

Laughters long-stifled
for situations
break lose, burst
through cold arteries
and veins stiffened out
in the shock of It

I pity myself
for being the corpse
where the show's for
my nameless times,
a life lived dull,
law-abiding romantic's
naked marathons...

They make sure that
my so-called soul
doesn't escape,
shut the coffin tight,
bury me - at last!
my body begins to move,
chuckles play games
in darkness,
music fills the vaccum

Undead companions
lead me down
well-lit castles where
longings wait patiently,
guide me to
the feast of madness,
bliss!
I forget,
try to forgive,
the priest's yawns!
