Taste it

it's a summer day that
I spend in the shade
and twilight comes and slowly fades
it's clouds drifting by
each star in the sky

everyday, taste it

it's fireflies as they dance in glass
when rain drops fall on tired grass
you'll never see when time flies past

everyday, taste it

you need more than love
to remind me of
those thoughts I can't hide

the east wind breaks
the silence escapes

everyday, taste it

You know I really like this. I think that stanza with the flreflies is fantastic and makes me very jealous. Those summer evenings and early nights are fantastic and to be out and relaxing during that time is so nice. Good job Miss Vron and good luck in the contest as well. Plus, that time of day can be so real and tangible that you can "taste it."
