A ball of Clay

He knew how to bend her in all the right ways.
Mentally and physically his knowledge of her was unsurpassed,
Yet he had known her for such a short time.
Reaching into his pocket he would pull out
A small mound of muddy clay
And without trying could shape it into her heart.
Her hard life would disappear
With his quick calculated movements.
She knew no matter what she would love him for eternity.

Author notes

I have not written in many many many many months.

I decided it was time to get back on the saddle.

I'm sorry that this isnt my best work and I'm out of practice, your contest touched my heart.

She watched him bend happiness into the shape of her name
